Torio: Ensure the safety of athletes

Bantay, Ilocos Sur— Regional Director Alma Ruby C. Torio reminded the officials and coaches to ensure the protection and safety of the student athletes in the conduct of the Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet during the Solidarity Meeting, March 3, Qurino Stadium.

Torio stressed that participants should support the clean, green and echo-friendly sports gathering not only in the assinged billeting centers but also in the playing fields.

Laica: A True Gem of the North

A catcher since her fifth grade, a RIAA qualifier in her first time in joining a softball team, four-time Palarong Pambansa player, just like her name Laica Beryll Agresor is a precious gem for Ilocos Norte Secondary Women Softball Team.

Bantay, Ilocos Sur- The Schools Division of Pangasinan II maintains on the top spot in the gold medal haul for the Region I Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet 2017  supremacy as of 6:33 last night.
Dagupan City and Urdaneta  City, surprisingly, are close on the heels of Pangasinan II in the medal race, likewise the top post.
Said division struck hardest in the individual events which are rich in medals like swimming, gymnastics, taekwondo and arnis.(Pablo T. Tabin Jr.,  Mark  Lovis Galanga, Abihail Agcaoili & Ade John Gestole)
